Indication

Azithromycin oral suspension is indicated for the treatment of the following infections, when caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin

• Acute bacterial sinusitis (adequately diagnosed)


• Acute bacterial otitis media (adequately diagnosed)


• Pharyngitis, tonsillitis


• Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (adequately diagnosed)


• Mild to moderately severe community acquired pneumonia


• Skin and soft tissue infections


• Uncomplicated chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis

Indication : Cephalexin capsules are a broad spectrum antibiotic used to treat common infections caused by a variety of bacteria in different parts of the body, including, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, such as bronchitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis and pharyngitis; ear infections (otitis media); bacterial sinusitis; genitourinary tract infections, including acute prostitutes; infections of the skin, soft tissue and bone; dental infections. Cephalexin capsules 500mg are also used as prophylaxis (to prevent) rheumatic fever.

• Respiratory Tract infections like lung abscess, aspiration pneumonia, empyema and bronchiectasis.
• ENT infections like chronic sinusitis, chronic suppurative otitis media, cholesteatoma and mastoiditis.
• Orofacial and Dental infections
• Dermatological infections like cellulitis, breast and other cutaneous abscesses, gangrene, diabetic and decubitus ulcers.
• Intra-abdominal infections and diarrhoeas of mixed bacterial and protozoal origin.
